The price of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is around $1000 to $1450. This phone offers an Exynos 990 SoC (7nm+) processor, 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256 GB internal storage. This phone also features an HDR10+ display with its 6.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus Screen, a Li-Ion 4300 mAh battery and internal storage expandable upto an additional 1000000 GB via MicroSD.

Product Review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is a large phone with a 6.7 inch screen, a Super AMOLED Infinity-O panel,  powered by an Exynos 990 processor, 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal memory. It is a top range phone with a 4300 mAh battery and triple cameras in the back. The phone ranges from around 3299 AED to 3499 AED in the Middle East.

  • Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display panel on a 6.7 inch screen.

  • 8GB RAM with 128GB/ 256 GB Internal Storage with an additional 1000000 GB space via Microsd.

  • Fast processing Samsung Exynos 990.

  • 4300 mAh moderately powerful battery.

  • Stylus provided.

  • Triple camera at the back.

  • Flat screen with 1080p visuals.

  • Glasstic back finish, which feels like plastic in a premium high end phone.

Display and Body

This phone offers a Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display unit with a 6.7 inch display screen. The display unit offers cinematic vision to the consumers at 1080p. The video experience on this phone is excellent barring directly under the sunlight. The phone has a Glasstic back body, which feels like plastic. This can be a deterrent to the satisfaction of holding a premium phone with a premium finish according to reports.

Memory and Storage

The phone features a 8 GB RAM and a 128 GB or 256 internal storage memory. This specification, while competitive, is not the best at this price in the market.

Battery Life

The phone comes with a 4300 mAh battery. This phone also comes with a fast charging 25W charger that caters to the consumers' needs to stay connected long. Given the demands of a phablet are different from that of a phone, the 4300 mAh battery provides only an average experience for the consumer.

Stylus Available

The phone has a stylus (S pen) which would help consumers with handwriting based texting and better promotes consumer control over touchscreens. The S Pen provided with Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is an improvement on the previous editions, and offers a smoother experience.

Camera Quality

The phone comes with triple lens at the back, a 12MP wide lens, a 64MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra wide lens. The front camera is a basic 10MP lens. This phone offers an average experience in photography, unable to compete with phones with more powerful lenses at this price.

Pros

  • Excellent visuals in the Super AMOLED Infinity-O display panel

  • Excellent Memory and Storage

  • Availability of Stylus (S Pen)

  • High Speed Processor

  • Moderately performing 4300 mAh battery

Cons

  • The speaker location of the phone at the left below will cause sound to be muffled when the phone is held in hand

  • The screen, 6.7" in size can be difficult to hold in one hand

  • The Glasstic back panel does not feel premium

  • The cameras fails to impress at the price range

Overall

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is a confusing phablet that is a mixed bag of success and disappointment. While the design and display panel is impressive, consumers expect a better finish on the back panel at this price that feels more than plastic. The 4300 mAh battery delivers a solid average performance but could be better in a phablet. The triple lens camera at the rear can be improved much further for more accuracy, detail and better lit photographic experience. The stylus (S pen) has been impressive and a considerable improvement over previous models. Overall, this phone can seem less value for money when compared to others in the market.
